Dock Street Celebrates Its 8th Anniversary in West Philly

Today, Tuesday, August 25th, Dock Street Brewery is celebrating its 8th anniversary in the firehouse at 50th and Baltimore Avenue. And in honor of the event, the almost 30-year old brewery will be serving up eight beers to toast to the neighborhood.

The bar opens today at 3 p.m., the kitchen gets cooking at 4 p.m.

Chamomillionaire
Tart and fruity golden ale

Barrel Soured Ninos Prickly Pears, 2013 Vintage
Bier de Garde brewed with prickly pears.  Barrel aged for two years.

Prince Myshkin Russian Imperial Stout, 2015
Pours a deep, opaque, midnight-black, with a dense milk colored head.

Golden goat
Traditional German Maibock lager.

Philly Trippel
Brewed in collaboration with Anne-Catherine Dilewyns of Brouwerij Dilewyns (Vicaris) during Philly Beer Week 2014. A dry tripel brewed with Philadelphia honey.

2012 Barley Wine
Dock Street’s original Barley Wine recipe, cellared 3 years.

Summer In Berlin
A ‘Philly Style’ Berliner Weisse brewed with fresh lemongrass and fresh ginger.

Rye IPA
Brewed at the firehouse since day one. It is an aggressively hopped American Style India Pale Ale.
