— -- The hits just keep on coming for Joe Bailey.

After getting dumped by Samantha Steffen on Monday’s show, the "Bachelor in Paradise" star saw the couple he wronged, Mikey Tenerelli and Juelia Kinney, whisked off on a private jet for overnight date to Guadalajara, Mexico, and that was just the beginning. More on that later.

While in the Mexico, Mikey and Juelia were treated to an adrenaline-charged Lucha Libre wrestling match, after which they discussed their future as a couple. After coming to the conclusion that Mikey is the man of her dreams, Juelia gave him permission to spend the night with her in the fantasy suite.

Back at the house, the cast began to question Samantha's intentions. Joe, looking to clear his name as the house villain, pulled her aside and threatened to expose her as a liar by revealing her text messages urging him to "do whatever it took" to receive a rose.

Meanwhile, Kirk DeWindt surprised Carly Waddell with an impromptu fishing date where they discussed their future as a couple and took in a stunning sunset, leaving Carly convinced she had found her husband.

The next day, Joe decided that the door on his romance with Samantha was "not completely shut.” He solicited advice from Ashley I., who suggested that he attempt a fresh start with Samantha. But later that night, Joe’s attempt to win her back failed, leaving him heartbroken and embarrassed.

Things went from bad to worse when Justin Reich from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season arrived on the scene with a date card and designs on Samantha. Despite Joe’s protests, Samantha agreed to join Justin on his date, and her behavior left the cast questioning who the real villain of Paradise is.

The episode ended in a cliffhanger, with a distraught Joe contemplating whether to stay or go home.

Immediately following the show on "After Paradise," Ben Higgins, second runner-up from Kaitlyn's season, was officially announced as the next Bachelor.

A new episode of "Bachelor in Paradise" airs Sunday night on ABC.
