Allen and Lynch off colour in limp end to bad week

Bertram Allen and Denis Lynch finished 16th and 17th at the FEI European Championships in Aachen yesterday, bringing a difficult week for Irish showjumping to an end.
Both had a pole down in the first round of the medal-decider. Allen collected a single fault with Molly Malone, while Lynch's All Star had the first fence down second time out.
