A class apart

Paresh firmly believes that fashion is seasonal and the only thing that is constant in it is change. He points out that colour and silhouette, innovation of design and aesthetics are elements that complement each other.

“With each new year, there comes a relative amount of change. Fashion will always  change and we need to change with it,” says Paresh.
His latest line of shirts and trousers are an interplay of prints and bold colours. Explaining why his latest collection has been designed to appear edgy and attractive, he says that every high street store and brand (big or small) is pushing the current pattern trend for all it’s worth, and Paresh has been contributing to that process in his own way.

“I don’t think it’s possible to walk down a street without seeing someone wearing bright colours, ombres and printed garments. Even accessories such as shoes, socks, belts and even watches are being matched because they are vibrant, loud and stylish. The amount of unique shapes and bold colours adding to graphic prints is constantly increasing,” he
adds.

He says that his current collection has been designed to look playful yet crisp in terms of colour palette, prints in repeats, ombres and trimming. “I have used a lot of blues and whites with bright coloured trimming for accents. The edgier take on traditionally feminine prints and colours offers a much more wearable and masculine way of incorporating these patterns into one’s current wardrobe,” he states.

He says that men don’t compromise on splurging during shopping. They pick up checked shirts, florals, and even animal prints — all of which are trending this season.

“Patterns can be an excellent way to show off individual style. Fashion rules are meant to be broken, and colour is a great example of this philosophy. Anyone can carry off a trendy look if confident,” he says. Paresh has witnessed all the dramatic changes taking place in the world of men’s fashion. In this context, he says that men have indeed become bolder in making their choices.

“Men are very brand and fashion conscious in terms of clothing and styling them with the right kind of accessories,” he explains.
