The filmmakers have launched their second song, Sau Aasoon, after Sarfira from Katti Batti.

The filmmakers have launched their second song after Sarfira. Sau Aasoon from Katti Batti might become one of the new popular heartbreak songs. 'Sau aansu roye do ankhiyan' comes towards the climax, after Imran's character, Maddy, breaks up with his live-in partner, Payal, played by Kangana Ranaut.
The song takes you to a flashback when everything used to be happy between Maddy and Payal. In Sau Aasoon Imran says that, "Jaane wale jaane nai,uske jaane se jaan gayi." Sau Aasoon shows how much Maddy is in love with Payal and how his life is affected after the breakup. Reportedly, Imran could connect himself to the song and the script- the fights, patch-ups and breakups- since he and his wife Avantika have been through it all for 13 years now.

The song is composed by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy and sung by Rasika Shekhar & Shankar Mahadevan. The lyrics have been penned by Kumaar. The composers also gave a preview of the song before the makers launched it.
The film is touted to be a contemporary and an unusual love story. Directed by Nikhil Advani, Katti Batti will see Imran and Kangana pairing up for the first time on the silver screen. The film is set to release on September 18.
