Satna Titus says no to skin show

Though her Tamil isn’t fluent, she’s determined to do more films in Kollywood
Malayalam-based actress Satna Titus, who’s making her debut in Tamil cinema with Vijay Anthony’s Pichaikaran, is all smiles. Though her Tamil isn’t fluent, she’s determined to do more films in Kollywood.
“The actors and technicians here are respected everywhere for their talent. I have always wanted to work in the Tamil industry, though I have a couple of Malayalam films in my kitty. I am quite sure this film will be a proper launch pad for my career — I play a businesswoman in it,” she quips.
The actress has her eye fixed on performance-oriented roles and says she’s quite picky. “I am not interested in being glamorous. Wholesome entertainment can be provided without indulging in unnecessary skin show. You can still be sensuous when you are fully-clothed as well! I would like to act in as many interesting roles as possible, like Jyothika in Chandramukhi and Simran in Thulladha Manamum Thullum. Those heroines made names for themselves with challenging performances,” she says. Heaping praise on Vijay Antony, she says, “He’s given me a great chance to come out as a good actor. It was wonderful working with him.”
