Nitish woos his native Nalanda with 716 crore

Reaching out to the people of his native Nalanda district just ahead of the Assembly polls, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday inaugurated projects worth 716 crore, including a medical college and an engineering college.

Dedicating the Vardaman Institute of Medical Sciences at Pawapuri, Nitish said that the medical college had fulfilled the dreams of the many people and would become a world-class hospital.

"I hope that this hospital emerges as the centre of excellence which will attract people from across the country to come for treatment," he said.
