Sony personal computer spinoff starts anew overseas

TOKYO -- Vaio, a Japanese personal computer maker that was created out of Sony's PC business, announced Wednesday it will start selling its namesake brand computers in the U.S. and Brazil shortly.

     Since its establishment last summer, the company has concentrated on the Japanese market, but will now broaden its scope.
