Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja's much-awaited movie "Kick 2" is getting ready for a grand release in the United States of America (USA) on 21 August and is expected to break the records of his previous movies.

Classics Entertainments has reportedly acquired the overseas theatrical rights of "Kick 2" for a whopping price, which is said to be the highest amount for any Ravi Teja movie. The distribution house is said to have grand plans for the release and is planning to release the movie in 100 locations across the US.

Ravi Teja's previous outing, "Power", which was released in over 85 screens in the US, was the biggest release the actor had in the country.

It is reported that Classics Entertainments has partnered with European Telugu Colors to bag the Europe distribution rights of "Kick 2". The distribution houses have grand plans for its release across the continent, which happens to be another potential international market for Indian movies.

Ravi Teja has got a decent amount of fan following in the key international markets. Especially, his last five releases have done superb business at the US box office.

"Power" has been the biggest opener for Ravi Teja with its first weekend collection $ 334,861 (Rs 2.04 crore) at the USA box office. His 2013 release "Balupu", which collected $ 4,48,804 (Rs 2.69 crore), has been the highest grosser for the actor in the country. Now, "Kick 2" is expected to shatter both the records.

"Kick 2" is an action-entertainer movie and is a sequel to blockbuster movie "Kick". It was written by Vakkantham Vamsi, directed by Surender Reddy and was produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. Ravi Teja will be seen romancing Rakul Preet Singh in the movie, which has S Thaman's music and Manoj Paramahamsa's cinematography.
