Fiji Dairy Limited yesterday donated $120, 000 for the 2015 Rewa Galaxy Kaji Rugby tournament.

The three-day tournament consists of more than 2400 players representing 100 teams from 18 districts.

Fiji Dairy Limited general manager Sandeep Balia said Kaji Rugby was a development for potential rugby players.

“We believe it’s the country’s largest and most important sporting competition for our children in Fiji,” Balia said.

“Rewa Galaxy is all about living a healthy life and keeping yourself energised so the association with Kaji Rugby is a perfect fit for us and we are very proud to be back with this wonderful event.

“Rugby has always been a very important sport in Fiji. It’s all about team work, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship,” he said.

Vodafone Fijian 7s head coach Ben Ryan, who was the chief guest at the event, wished the Kaji rugby players well and reminded them to be good sportsmanship.

“Play with a smile in your face, respect your opponent and give everything you have,” Ryan said

The Rewa Galaxy Kaji Rugby continues today at the ANZ Stadium, Bidesi, Buckhurst and Ground four in Suva.
