This Tag In Bristol Is The Most Middle Class Graffiti Ever

It’s hardly Banksy.

But an actor has spotted what’s being dubbed the most middle class graffiti ever - the word “Quinoa” scrawled on to a wall.

Joe Sims, famed for his role as Nige The Creepy Plumber in popular ITV drama Broadchurch, uploaded the picture of the unusual seed street art to his Twitter page.

“Bristol…a lot posher than it used to be! #middleclassgraffiti,” he captioned the shot.

The tag, named after a superfood, was spotted in St Werburgh’s, Bristol, near the actor’s home.

Joe, who also played killer Vincent Tabak in The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies, said: “It is perfectly Bristolian and in keeping with the urban gentrification of the area.

"I’m not sure if he will be the next Banksy. He might have another super food to battle with - possibly avocado? Maybe it will take over postcode rivalry."

Quinoa is a grain found in South America. Its seeds are edible and it is labelled as a superfood because of its high nutritional value.

The crop is high in protein and can be eaten in curries, salads or on its own.
