The national tournament of the 2015 Yao Foundation Hope School's basketball season was launched in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province on August 12.

Peak, the Yao Foundation's partner, provided sporting equipment worth more than 1 million yuan ($156,213) for participating teachers and students, instructors, coaches, and volunteers.

For four years, Peak and the Yao Foundation have supported 151,500 students at 172 Hope Schools in China, helping them build their dreams, enjoy the spirit of sport and develop their physical and mental condition through playing basketball.

During this time, Peak has also organized events where their contracted NBA players, such as Tony Parker and George Hill, will interact with students in poor regions of China, bringing NBA basketball culture to Chinese teenagers.

In addition, Peak has worked with Liaoning Satellite TV's charity program and actresses Yang Tongshu and Sun Qian, calling for the public to offer care and support for children in need and provide them with sports shirts and shoes.

Peak also released its 2014 CSR (corporate social responsibility) report on the same day of launch ceremony of the basketball tournament.

As one of the first domestic sports enterprises to release its CSR report since 2008, Peak always thinks highly of publicizing information and openly communicating when it comes to CSR-related activities.

Peak's report focuses on the idea of "dream building." The five sections involve creating interests, serving clients, caring for staff, and contributing to society, showing Peak's dedication to the sustainability of their community.

Because of its support for social interests, Peak was honored in 2014 as a "remarkable contributor" of the Hope Project during the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the project. To Peak, this is the evidence of Peak's dedication to social interests for all these years.
