HALIBURTON COUNTY, Ont. - Ontario Provincial Police say a man is dead and another is wounded after a shooting north of Peterborough.
Officers responded to a report of a gun being fired at a home in Haliburton County shortly before 6 p.m. on Sunday and found the deceased man.
Another man was later found with unknown injuries and taken to hospital.
Investigators say both men appear to have suffered gunshot wounds that happened during the same incident.
Police say they believe there is no threat to public safety.
