JK Rowling Tells Writer To Pursue Her Dreams And Forget All The Haters

It was the great (albeit fictional) Albus Dumbledore who once said,

Words are, in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic. Capable of both inflicting injury, and remedying it.

JK Rowling stays true to these words even though she wrote them nearly a decade ago.

On August 15, Rowling responded to a tweet from an aspiring  writer in Egypt with some serious words of wisdom.

@jk_rowling You inspired me to write. However, in Egypt, girls can't do anything freely as boys. They laugh at me when I say I am a writer. — Preliator. (@Hagar_ElSaeed) August 15, 2015

The generation raised on Rowling's words soon chimed in, continuing to buoy the amateur author.

The woman was naturally touched by the outpour of love and support.
