Saif Ali Khan played the perfect host at his quaint little birthday bash

The Nawab of Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan, rang in his 45th birthday in style. In the afternoon, wifey Kareena Kapoor Khan's girl gang took him out for a lovely brunch. Bebo, along with her sister Karisma and best friend, Amrita Arora, posed for pictures. At night, Saif hosted a small bash for family and close friends at his Bandra residence.

Amongst those who turned up were - sister Soha with husband Kunal Kemmu, son Ibrahim, Bebo's friend, Malaika Arora Khan, with husband Arbaaz, amongst others. Saif came down to greet the media.Bebo's mother, who has the reputation of being a social recluse, too, turned up to bless him on his special day but left the party early.

Karisma, who sported lovely pink heels with a grey and white printed dress, posted a pic of Saif planting a kiss on her head. Saif played a great host and was at his wittiest, funniest best. The gang, who partied till late into the night, ended the evening on a high-spirited note.
