Manohar Lal Khattar in New York to woo investors

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar commenced his eight-day visit to the United States and Canada on Sunday.

Khattar tweeted, with #HappeningHaryana hash tag, "Reached New York, thereby commencing my eight days visit to USA and Canada to attract investors to invest in our state."

Khattar is accompanied by Finance and Industry Minister Captain Abhimanyu and a team of senior bureaucrats. He is likely to showcase Haryana as an investment destination in both the countries to woo foreign investors, including those from Haryana who are now settled in these countries.

Sources said US Ambassador to India Richard Verma, who recently met Khattar, had invited him to visit that country.
