People discouraged me a lot: Rachitha

Rachitha Mahalakshmi Dinesh had a lot of doubts before she signed up for the role of Thanga Meenatchi in the serial, Saravanan Meenatchi.
“People had a lot of doubts about a second season of Saravanan Meenatchi. The channel approached me and I rejected it because didn't have dates. A few months later, the serial was offered to me again and I agreed to do the lead role.I had people taunting me, discouraging me and even saying the serial will not have more than 100 episodes. But today , the serial has done so well. I make sure I prepare for my character and transform into Meenatchi before going for the shoot.Today , people come and appreciate me and say , `You are the Meenakshi we know'. I don't want to sign up any other serial in Tamil as of now. I want to focus only on Saravanan Meenatchi,“ says Rachitha, who is also doing a few Telugu serials.
