Museum of Fine Arts prepares for Dutch invasion

The Dutch are coming! The Dutch are coming! Officials at the Museum of Fine Arts are already hyping the MFA’s fall exhibition, hanging a giant sign for the show, called “Class Distinctions: Dutch Painting in the Age of Rembrandt and Vermeer.” Opening Oct. 11, the exhibition features two works by Johannes Vermeer, and 73 paintings by the likes of Rembrandt, Jan Steen, Frans Hals, Pieter de Hooch, Gerard ter Borch, and Gerrit Dou. (Twenty-six of the works have never been seen in the US.) Color us excited.
