John Abraham, who’s known for his poised demeanour, had to shed his inhibitions to step into the shoes of his tapori character Ajju Bhai in the upcoming family entertainer, Welcome Back. The hunky actor, who has played a much-feared don in
Shootout At Wadalaearlier, learnt the tapori lingo for his new role as a lovable goon. To ensure he got into the skin of the character convincingly, he watched several films like
Rangeela to understand the typical ‘Mumbaiya’ lingo and body language.
Moreover, he also got ample support from co-actors
Anil Kapoor and
Nana Patekar, who have aced ‘
bhaigiri’ roles, and helped him improve with every scene. The three men bonded big time, often cracking up at the dialogues in between their shots.
