MUMBAI: Mumbai commuters using Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar metro rail can heave a sigh of relief at least for now. The new fare structure allowed by the Supreme Court may not be implemented very soon.
In a new twist to Mumbai's metro rail fare controversy, that was cleared by SC through its recent ruling, chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday said the new fare structure would not be allowed to be implemented till the time special audit into the expenses for metro rail construction was completed.
