On Phantom carrying a strong political message

"Kabir has a strong political voice, I'll leave him to talk on this. For me, the film is a work of fiction, which takes off two-three weeks after the Mumbai terror attacks with a kind of a rogue mission taking shape. In Ek Tha Tiger I was a Pakistani secret agent, here I work for India, but not officially. Kabir likes to cast me as a spy."

On working with Kabir Khan again

"Kabir is the first real friend I made here. I'd love to be in every film he makes. Right now, he's working on the script. If there's something new, he'll call, if he feels we're getting repetitive, he'll go to someone else."

On working with Salman Khan and being a part of his home production

"He wants to make films with a strong social message. Which actor wouldn't want to be in such a film. Ek Tha Tiger portrayed him very differently and Bajrangi Bhaijaan reflects Kabir's style of filmmaking too. Salman's outstanding and so much fun. With the childlike quality of the Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam days.

On Jagga Jasoos getting delayed

"It's just that we've not been shooting fast enough even though we've wrapped up three schedules. You can't push him (Anurag) and since both, Ranbir and I had other commitments, we can only shoot Jagga Jasoos between breaks in our schedule."

On her being present at the Deepika-Ranbir starrer Tamasha's shoot in Corisca

"I don't comment on where I go in my personal time but I'm a big fan of Imtiaz Ali and am confident he won't make a bad film. He's passionate about cinema and so is Ranbir."

On boyfriend Ranbir's film Bombay Velvet failing miserably

"I won't speak for Ranbir but I believe that as long as you follow you heart and give your best, you can sleep peacefully. Sure, if a film doesn't work, any actor is hurt but unless you take a fall how will you grow stronger and better."

On her alleged engagement with Ranbir Kapoor

"I don't discuss where I live or with whom. But I can tell you that we're not engaged and no date has been set for the marriage yet. I'll not lie about this, ever. When it happens, the world will know."

On love

"Love is complex. I recently watched the animated feature, Inside Out, which deals with six emotions with 25 men between ages 25-35 and I've never felt so much emotion amongst guys. Life is a journey of highs and lows, understanding what makes you happy and what works for you. Love is an important aspect."

On the controversy when Neetu Kapoor supposedly cropped her out while sharing a picture

"I was on a reality show recently with Shahid (Kapoor) and Saif and in a pictures Saif was cropped out. I don't think anyone does this intentionally. I don't surround myself with such gossip. The Kapoors are an amazing family. Everyone I've met is beautiful, intelligent, well-read and an amazing artist. That applies to her (Neetu Kapoor) too, she's part of the family."

And the cliche, if she'll invite Salman Khan to her wedding

"Whenever either of us gets married, the other person will be there. But we're jumping the gun again."
