Elan Watertown developers to host forum on park’s design

Developers of a mixed-use complex at Arsenal and Irving streets in Watertown will hold a second public meeting to hear ideas on the design of a community park on the property Monday, Aug. 17. The complex, dubbed the Elan Watertown, will add nearly 300 residential units and about 14,000 square feet of retail space at the central intersection. It was approved by the town’s Zoning Board of Appeals in late June. Monday’s meeting will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the auditorium at 319 Arlington St., according to an announcement by town officials. Notes from the developer’s first session on the park can be found online at www.watertown-ma.gov.
