NDA MPs hold Save Democracy march

The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned sine die on Thursday after a 23-day monsoon session. The session which began on July 21 was a complete washout due to protests by the opposition, chiefly the Congress, demanding the resignation of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj for allegedly helping former IPL chief Lalit Modi and the Vyapam scam.

Here are the highlights:

Congress party's real intent was to not let the economy grow; they used "lung power" to try and halt progress.
India stands educated about Congress party and the family that controls it.

There is a speculation that the government may call a short special session of both Houses of Parliament to pass the GST Bill, if it is not passed today, government sources said.
