Sudhir checks into Sri Lanka

Sudhir Gautam has by now attained a super fan status in India. He is omnipresent wherever the Indian cricket team travels. Having found a sponsor for the World Cup, he has also travelled to the other side of the Pacific, Down Under.

And he thrives on a nomadic existence. While the Indian cricketers overburdened with tours, make the most of days between tours, Sudhir is at unease doing the usual work for bread and butter in an off season. When he is clothed as an everyday man at work, he is still recognized. Selling food at stalls is something he has done during IPL games, but it's clearly something that is not his calling.

Yearning for cricket to resume, he found an acquaintance happy to fund his Sri Lanka visit. And here he is at Galle, wearing that rare 187 numbered India white that's otherwise the possession of a select few. And he goes hunting for that elusive artist who would help paint his body for match day.
