Now a fiction show on TV that gives people a chance to say shukriya

We often forget to say ‘thank you’ to those who have selflessly touched our lives, be it our parents, friends, siblings or even strangers.
Zindagi’s first original non-fiction show 'Shukriya' will give real people a platform to exhibit their real emotions and, in turn, give those they want to thank, a memory that will last them a lifetime.
Gunjan Utreja, the witty host of the show, is overwhelmed with emotions these days.The actor has been traveling the length and breadth of the country in search of heart-warming stories for the show.

Such has been the impact of the stories that Gunjan has been inspired to say shukriya to his cousin Ishan who he calls his pillar of strength. He says, “A couple of years back I was going through a tough phase, I had lost my aunt and also injured myself. Doctors said that I won’t be able to walk for almost a year. I was quite disheartened. That is when Ishan, who is eight years younger to me, became my friend, guide and mentor. He gave me the strength and support to start looking at life positively again and because of his efforts, I was back on my feet in only two months. Shukriya Ishan, I am what I am because of you. My brother — you are my rock! Viewers will get to watch many such heart-warming stories.”
Shukriya premieres on 8th August at 8 pm on Zindagi.
