Burnaby RCMP is asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects in a recent sexual assault.

On July 8 at 9 p.m., a woman was walking home alone in the Edmonds SkyTrain station area when she was allegedly pulled into the bushes by two men.

Police say the woman was forced to the ground and one of the men tried to sexually assault her while the other rummaged through her bag.

The woman screamed and resisted the assault, and police say the men ran away.

The victim was not injured, and RCMP believes the attack was an isolated incident.

The alleged assaulter is described as a black man around 28 years old, around 6-0 tall, with an average build and short black hair.

The second man is described as black, around 28 years old, 6-1 tall, with a muscular build.
