Each time we talk about a supercar couple, it’s difficult not to get lost in all the possibilities such a union brings. And when you’re talking a McLaren and an Aston Martin, things reach a whole new level.
This motorized couple is comprised of the man’s McLaren 650S and the woman’s Aston Martin Vanquish Volante. The picture showing their cars has showed up on Reddit. And while verifying the facts is impossible, we want to believe this story is true.

Why? Well, you can put this in any possible way and it’s still going to sound perfect. Think about it. For starters, this is an all-British setup, with Woking’s supercar meeting Gaydon’s Grand Tourer, while both are here in open-top form.

Such a setup simply exudes elegance. Both cars are docile enough to be driven on a regular basis, whether we’re talking about powertrain setup or ride. So the best part of it all is that this couple can enjoy a drive anytime they feel like.

And despite these two cars being as different as possible in the world of exotics, it makes full sense for both to use the open-air incarnation. For the McLaren, the only drawback brought by this is the pricing increase.

As with any car in the supercar producer’s range, the Spider versions offers similar performance to the fixed roof model, so unless you spend more time on the track than you do on the road, the Spider is the better choice. Moreover, the 650 Spider’s configuration means the draught protection is high, so you can actually enjoy open-air driving.

As for the Aston, the Vanquish couple is a delightful Grand Tourer. It’s still not as sharp as a Ferrari F12, which means that opting for the Volante version won’t make you regret the choice you’ve made.
