NMHH fines Invitel, UPC
Hungaryʼs National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) fined Invitel HUF 80 mln and UPC HUF 10 mln on charges of violating consumer protection rules, the authority said on its webpage in a statement yesterday.
NMHH said it fined Invitel for modifying subscription contracts unilaterally, which is unlawful, according to the authority.
UPC was fined for failing to correct general contract conditions that NMHH had found and ordered to be corrected, the authority added on its webpage.
