TDP protests high commodity prices

The Telugu Desam Party district unit leaders staged a massive dharna in front of the district Collectorate here on Monday flaying the State government for failing to control prices of all the essential commodities.

TDP leaders led by its president Ch. Vijayaramana Rao and others took part in dharna.

On this occasion, the district president alleged that the prices of all essential commodities such as pulses, onion, etc. have been doubled within one year after the Telangana Rashtra Samithi attained power in the State.

Mr. Vijayaramana Rao also flayed the Minister for Civil Supplies, Etala Rajender, for remaining silent when the prices of essential commodities were skyrocketing hence burdening the common man.

‘Ruling party should step down’

Choppadandi party in-charge Medipalli Satyam and party in-charge of Sircilla , Annamneni Narsinga Rao demanded that the government should step down for failing to control the prices of essential commodities.

TDP leaders Mohd. Tajuddin, Sanku Sudhakar, ZPTC member Ganta Akshitha and others were also present.
