Cilla Black told a friend she 'she was going to see Bobby'

Cilla Black's childhood friend Terry McCann told the BBC she was in a down mood the last time he saw her.

The star, who had a string of pop hits in the 1960s before presenting TV shows like Blind Date and Surprise Surprise in the '80s, died on Saturday, aged 72.

Terry McCann told the BBC: "She said, anyway I'll see you sometime and be glad now I'm going to see Bobby."
