Debris cleared from Chamba highway

Transportation services resumed after clearing of debris that fell on the road after huge soil erosion at Lodhargarh on the Chamba-Shimla highway, reports reaching at the district headquarters this evening said.

The reports said the highway was blocked due to huge soil erosion following heavy downpour during the past two days.

The officials had urged the agencies concerned to oversee the work so that the recurring problem of soil erosion does not occur on the highway in the future.
