A friendly between Bulgarian club CSKA Sofia and Ashdod, a Israeli club, turned to chaos Sunday when a group of CSKA fans stormed the pitch and threw bottles at Ashdod players.
Fans tossed objects onto the field after an Ashdod player received a red card for a horrific tackle, but tensions quickly bubbled over and some spectators left the stands to terrorize the players on the pitch.
CSKA players seemed to be trying to get the fans to stop, but the Ashdod players ran across the field to try and evade the angry mob.
The visitors scampered up the stadium stairs at the other end of the field, while a fan can be seen throwing a bottle at one of the opposing players.
