Shivraj to declare names for boards and corporations soon

Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday headed off to his favourite Tiger destination near Bhopal, Ratapani wildlife sanctuary, in Raisen district, to decide fate of aspirants vying for posts in various corporations and boards of state.

BHOPAL: Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday headed off to his favourite Tiger destination near Bhopal, Ratapani wildlife sanctuary, in Raisen district, to decide fate of aspirants vying for posts in various corporations and boards of state.
It was a family trip though, his mandarins accompanied him to help sort out names close to party organisation, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and party bigwigs.
For almost two dozen boards and corporations, there are over 100 probable to be appointed politically. ?Ever since BJP government came to power in state for third consecutive term, these appointments are pending over one or other. Initially, the appointments were to be made after party national president Amit Shah’s visit to Bhopal but eventually got deferred due to Garoth by-polls. Now, with civic polls standing by, the party and chief minister himself decided to take quick decision on the appointments.
After his recent visit in Delhi, Shivraj Singh had assured to disclose names by August 04 and apparently the list had been finalised. But, there were some reservations and party bigwigs want change thus, delay. Sources in BJP informed that appointments and Chouhan's Ratapani tour correlates with the tussle going on for plum posts like chairperson and vice-president. Most of the union ministers and BJP office-bearers vouch their supporters for prime corporations and boards.
While, party stalwart and external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj is seeking a plum post for her supporters Sukhpreet Singh, Ramkishan Chauhan and Govind Malu, union minister Narendra Singh Tomar has given three names including Ajay Singh Kushwaha of Gwalior and Karan Parmar of Ratlam.
Party senior Thawarchand Gehlot also support Shajapur MLA Arun Bhimavad while newly appointed national general secretary Kailash Vijayavargiya want Jitu Jirati and Kavita Patidar for the coveted posts. There are few names from Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, party state in-charge and national vice-president and state general secretary Arvind Menon too.
Some of the probable include state vice-president Vijayendra Singh Sisodia, spokesperson Rakesh Sharma, Shivraj Singh's close confidents Guruprasad Sharma, Rajendra Singh Rajput, Shiv Chaube, State media in-charge Dr Hitesh Vajpayee, Jaswant Singh Hada of Shujalpur and Deepak Vijayvargiya.
Irrespective of astrological calculations, chief minister's secret and confidential trip confirms that names of the aspirants are most likely to be declared on Tuesday.
