Gwyneth Paltrow heads to Capitol Hill
Gwyneth Paltrow, the “Iron Man” star and founder of the lifestyle website Goop, is poised to attend a Wednesday press conference at the Capitol alongside her mother, Blythe Danner, and Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) to discuss labeling foods that contain genetically modified organisms, or GMOs.
Paltrow is lobbying lawmakers to oppose legislation that opponents say would “take away the right of states to label GMOs,” according to a news release.
