Former England captain Michael Vaughan recalls the emotions of the classic 2005 Test at Edgbaston.

The 2005 Ashes Test at Edgbaston will live long in the memory, for then-England captain Michael Vaughan in particular.

Vaughan’s men secured a dramatic two-run victory over Australia in Birmingham when Michael Kasprowicz, having put on 59 for the last wicket with Brett Lee, gloved Steve Harmison behind to Geraint Jones.

The second-Test triumph levelled the series at 1-1 and has been viewed as the catalyst for England going on to win 2-1 and regaining the Ashes for the first time in 18 years.
