LUCKNOW: Terming Uttar Pradesh Government's decision to ban live music and DJs (Disc Jockey) during Kanwar Yatra as "undemocratic", state BJP chief Laxmikant Bajpai today urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Home Minister to take "appropriate action" in this regard.
"The step to ban the use of DJs and music during the Kanwariya processions is totally undemocratic. The Chief Minister should tell the people whether there is democracy in the state or autocracy," Bajpai said.

He said that more than 24 party MPs have opposed this step of the state government and have demanded "appropriate action" from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh in this connection.
