Video: Swedish defender commits crime against football with hilarious dive

Andreas Johansson's simulation was so blatant that opponent bursts out loud laughing at him

Andreas Johansson committed a dive so ridiculous during the Norkopping vs AIK match this weekend that the player he was attempting to have sent off burst out laughing at and applauded it.

Mohamed Bangura couldn't help but find the funny side of Norkopping's captain pretending to have been assaulted, discovering that this was the case as he turned around to find the Swedish defender rolling around the ground in simulated agony.

No punishment was handed out to Bangura - nor Johansson - and it raises again the question of why referees cannot use the readily available visual evidence that everyone else in the stadium has to make difficult decisions and deal with situations they haven't been able to see.

There are certain things that happen in football where the ability to view a replay and award a red card for blatant cheating would be very welcome. In regards to that, this dive has the potential to be truly revolutionary as if it is reviewed and accurately punished, he will be sent to prison. On the moon.
