Things you missed at Manish Malhotra's grand finale
For someone who has redefined and modernised costumes in Indian cinema, executing a reminiscent of the old world charm from the 'heady 1950s' for the couture week couldn't get any better treatment from none other than Manish Malhotra.
The 49-year-old designer brought down the curtains on the week-long Amazon India Couture Week 2015 at The Leela Palace in New Delhi with his collection titled 'Couture Soiree - The Empress Story', featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the Empress of Couture aka showstopper.

Walking down the runway in a maroon floor length ballroom gown, the actress stole all the limelight with her grace and elegance. Despite being under the weather, the Jodhaa Akbar actress let the heavily sequined silhouette adorn her and she did not let anyone down! Her runway look was completed with - what seemed like a very interesting adornment - a gold-sequined jacket with a lace detailing on the sleeves end.

Playing his part to perfection, the merchant of runway glamour, Manish weaved magic into the clothes, sending down one masterpiece after another. Laced with intricate gold details, heavy-duty brocade job and silhouettes that perfectly outlines the nucleus of a regal make, The Empress Story was one of the finest couture collections this season.
So in honour of the finest grand finale collection here are some things you (might) have missed at the 2015 Amazon
