Paldi, Ahmedabad’s 44th police station starts functioning

A notification was issued by city police commissioner declaring Paldi as 44th police station in Ahmedabad.
Paldi was earlier a police chowky as part of Ellisbridge police station.
Before separation of Paldi police station, Ellisbridge police station covered around 16 sq km area and 5 lakh population.
Paldi police station has been made functional at Anjali char rasta in Laghu Udhyog building of state government.Some staff from the Ellisbridge police station and other police stations will be allocated to Paldi police station.
