Pool A winner 4R Electrical Ba will play Pool B runner-up Jack’s Nadi in the first semifinal at 7pm at the Govind Park in Ba on Thursday.

And Pool B winner Jedi’s Stationery Suva plays Pool A runner up and defending champion Rewa in the second semifinal at the RatuCakobau Park in Nausori on Friday 7pm in the INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants (B.O.G) tournament.

The four teams secured their semifinal spots after thrilling last round of pool play at the Ratu Cakobau Park yesterday.

However, out of the three semifinalists, Ba capped off the day with a good show.

Ba needed to win their last pool game against Labasa to qualify and the ‘Men in Black’ did it in style.

With a goal down and less half an hour to play, Ba made a scintillating come back to score three superb goals to qualify.

Ba coach/player Ronil Kumar thanked players for their remarkable comeback.

“We showed today (yesterday) that we as a team can rise to the occasion.

“We did against Labasa and we have two more games left to accomplish our aim,” Kumar said.

The venue of the final will be decided after the semifinal on Friday.
