Govt not keen on Sainik School in Rudraprayag: Khanduri

DEHRADUN: Pauri Garhwal parliamentarian BC Khanduri, who is also Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Defence, has expressed resentment over the delay in opening of Sainik School in Rudraprayag, which is part of his constituency.

Pauri Garhwal parliamentarian BC Khanduri, who is also Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Defence, has expressed resentment over the delay in opening of Sainik School in Rudraprayag, which is part of his constituency.

In a letter written to Chief Minister Harish Rawat, Khanduri said the state government was indifferent towards opening Sainik School at Rudraprayag though a proposal was sent to it a past few years ago.

He accused the state government of not cooperating with the Defence Ministry in the matter.
