Jennylyn Mercado ‘flattered’ by Dennis Trillo’s praise on Instagram
FHM’s “sexiest woman” and actress Jennylyn Mercado said that she is flattered by the praise her screen partner and ex-boyfriend Dennis Trillo gave her on social media.
“Siyempre nakakatuwa, nakaka-flatter na sabihan ng maganda ng kahit na sino—bata, matanda or kahit sinong nakakasalubong mo kahit saan (I am happy and amused that I am considered beautiful by anyone),”Mercado told reporters last week when she was launched as the newest brand ambassador of a popular lingerie line.
“Nakakatuwa na na-a-appreciate niya kahit ano man ang meron ako (It’s amusing that he appreciates me on who I am),” she said in jest.
Trillo posted a photo of Mercado on his Instagram account saying “Ang ganda naman ng katabi ko oh” (The person beside me is very beautiful.)
When asked if there’s a possibility of rekindling their old flame, Mercado said that she did not want to mix her work with her personal life.
“Iba ako magtrabaho. Kapag work, work talaga. Ayokong may pinaghahalong hindi kasama sa work (I am really focused with work. I don’t want to mix something that isn’t related to my work),” she added.
Mercado and Trillo, who last worked on a project five years ago, are starring in a soap opera titled “My Faithful Husband.” AJH
