Petra and Susanna write:

Aunty Agnes was special; I remember playing truant with John John my cousin and taking the school van to her house instead of mine without informing my parents.

Her door was always open; she was ready to listen and to laugh with us but also to share our sadnesses.

She also spoke her mind. We will not forget all the good times when we would spend weekends at Tar-Ragħad with our other aunties Vicky, Joyce and Gladys; the stone table in the garden always laden with goodies and cakes; those sunny days in the fresh air of Mġarr.

For three years she bore her sickness, always being grateful for the good things in her life and always being so positive.

Aunty Agnes, the void you have left is irreplaceable. You will always be in our hearts. May we always remember to see the positive side of life like you did. You were the embodiment of good cheer.

Love from your nieces.
