Nine killed as downpour wreaks havoc across country
A clutch of roof collapse incidents across the country claims lives.
PUNJAB (Dunya News) – Roof collapse after torrential rains in various areas of the country killed atleast nine people, Dunya News reported.
Roof of a house in Mian Channu toppled after heavy rain which killed father and daughter whereas the same incident claimed the life of two daughters including mother in Pakpattan and injured the head of the household.
In Dir Bala a young man drowned in Panchgora River and died whereas two people succumbed to snake bites in flood-affected Kot Walidad.
Separately, four people were killed and two children sustained injuries as roof of house came crashing down in Allahabad, Kark, Burewala and Vehari.
