Jose Mourinho made a triumphant return to Chelsea against Hull City during the 2013-14 season

Jose Mourinho made an "emotional" return to Stamford Bridge at the start of the 2013/14 season with a routine 2-0 win against Hull.

Speculation was rife the previous campaign that Mourinho would be Sir Alex Ferguson's successor at Old Trafford, but instead he ended up back in London for a second spell with Chelsea.

Mourinho was given a rapturous reception before kick-off as the ground acknowledged the home-coming of a club legend.

Chelsea won the Premier League in style after a four-year wait against Wigan during the 2009-10 season

This is how you win the Premier League in style. Chelsea needed to win to take the title away from Manchester United.

The victory was never in doubt as Carlo Ancelotti's side tore apart Wigan in dramatic style. It was a day for breaking records too.

Chelsea secured their record Premier League win and their thumping victory gave them a tally of 103 goals for the season - the previous best was 97.

Salomon Kalou, Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka put on exhibition displays adding to the carnival atmosphere at Stamford Bridge. It was a day to savour for Blues supporters.

Chelsea sealed a fourth Premier League title against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge during the 2014-15 season

Jose Mourinho promised his "beautiful eggs" would win the Premier League in two seasons, but some fans weren't sure they'd hatch quite so quickly.

Mourinho again proved his doubters wrong and there was an inevitability right from the start of the campaign that Chelsea would not be stopped.

They topped the table from the very first weekend and the continuity of picking predominantly the same team paid dividends for the Blues.

Jose Mourinho brought the first Premier League title to Stamford Bridge during the 2004-05 season

The wait was over. Chelsea's 50-year title dream was realised as Mourinho's side won the Premier League.

Frank Lampard struck twice in the second half as the Blues survived an early onslaught from Bolton to win at the Reebok Stadium.

Chelsea were top of the league for 257 days and the squad will go down as one of the best the Blues have ever assembled.

Eidur Gudjohnsen scored this stunning overhead kick against Leeds United during the 2002-03 season

Lampard led the revival in this match against Leeds but it was Eidur Gudjohnsen that grabbed everyone's attention with a magnificent overhead kick.

Gudjohnsen threw his body at the cross at the perfect moment, highlighting his magnificent reactions. The Blues forward caught the ball with his right foot expertly, leaving Paul Robinson no chance.

The Iceland international had been in great form for Chelsea in the lead up to this game and confirmed that here.

It was a goal which showed Chelsea at their very best, moving forward with pace before Gudjohnsen finished with aplomb.
