Planning to spruce up your home interiors or upgrade your electronics?

The ongoing India International Consumer Fair (IICF) offers plenty of options. The exhibition has over 125 stalls from across the country, displaying the latest models in electronics products, home furnishings, kitchenware, interior decorations, and educational products.

“This is the eighth year of the expo in Visakhapatnam, and with each year the response has been growing. We are expecting 25,000 to 30,000 footfalls over the four days,” said Umesh Pandey, director of IICF.

An exhaustive range of electronics products from all leading brands like Samsung, LG, IFB, and Videocon are on display here. Some of the unique stalls include the Rajasthani stall with composite marble and marble with 22-karat gold leaf work artefacts.

Akshay Interiors from Bhopal has come with an aesthetic range of steel-zinc-copper interior designer products like artistic chairs, swings, and decorative products. One of the interesting stalls is a range of wax candle LED lamps.

“The subtle LED lights are energy efficient and battery-operated. They give a feel of the real candle effect. These products are one of the fast selling items in Delhi market,” said Rachika, the stall owner from Delhi.

For those looking for easy and quirky solutions for house parties, Bangalore-based Party Mania has brought in a host of theme-based decors and props to make the parties interesting.

“It’s a one-stop solution for many household products. We picked up an electric tandoor from a stall. In Vizag, you don’t get to see so many options under one roof,” said Bina Rao, a visitor.

The exhibition is open at Hotel Novotel from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. till August 3.
