Nellorians can now witness the day-long rituals performed at Tirumala right here, with the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams deciding to organise Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavam from August 8 to 16.

TTD Chairman Chadalawada Krishnamurthy, along with District Collector M. Janaki, released a poster on Saturday for the mega religious festival at the sprawling A.C. Subba Reddy Stadium where a replica of the Tirumala temple dedicated to Lord Srinivasa will be placed.

“All ‘arjitha sevas’ that are offered to Lord Venkateswara right from dawn at Tirumala will be performed here during the nine-day festivities for the benefit of devotees,” he said. The spiritual programme would be organised by the TTD in other cities as well for propagating spiritual values and ‘Venkateswara Bhakti Tatva,’ he added.
