The bada** bride: Kriti Sanon ditched the sweet girl avatar of her first film to become a rebel bride in a ganji, sneakers and tattoos for
Monisha Jaising on Day 3. Called The Sailing Bride, the collection channelled a wedding on board a luxury yacht.
The female models lay on deck chairs on the ramp, while some male models dressed as sailors tended bar in the background.
Anju Modi
Chhota show: Anju Modi presented a preview of her couture collection rather than a full show, but there was nothing halfway about the elaborate garments. The collection, called Kashish, was inspired by the rich ancient civilization of Persia and the verses of Rumi. The models displayed entirely traditional ensembles in the modern colours of blue, yellow and red. Seen here is model Lakshmi Rana
Varun Bahl
Flowery notes: With floral motifs, prints and embroidered patterns, Varun Bahl’s collection stayed true to its title, Song of the Flower. The designer added a contemporary touch to traditional garments by including sari gowns and kurtas teamed with pants, besides subtle shades in his menswear line.
