FIR against former DAV school principal Ramanuj

Patna: An FIR has been lodged with the Shastrinagar police station against former principal of DAV Public School, BSEB Colony, Ramanuj Prasad. He has been charged with committing financial irregularities and providing wrongful documents and information to the CBSE which allegedly led to the cancellation of the school’s affiliation.
DSP (Secretariat) Shibli Nomani said, “Indrajeet Rai, the school principal, who is also the assistant regional director, Patna zone, lodged the FIR on Saturday.He claimed that during the internal audit of the period of Ramanuj as principal, huge financial irregularities were detected. Rai also blamed his predecessor for the cancellation of CBSE affiliation to the school which put a question mark on the future of the school students.”
Stolen car recovered: Patna police have recovered an SUV owned by former principal of DAV Public School, BSEB Colony, Patna, Ramanuj Prasad. DSP (Secretariat) Shibli Nomani said, “Ramanuj had lodged an FIR with the Secretariat police station on July 30 that his vehicle, which was parked near a petrol pump under the Secretariat police station, was stolen. We located the vehicle in Dinara area of Rohtas district. The car was tracked by the GPRS. Two car-lifters have also been arrested. We would like to request the car owners to use GPRS technology to help the investigators.”
Jewellery shop: Patna police on Saturday asked the city jewellers to install CCTV cameras on their respective premises to evade any kind of theft. It will also help the police in identifying the accused if any such incident takes place. Patna SSP Vikas Vaibhav said, “We have got two photographs of two persons from two different jewellers at Patna. Both the complainants said the two men went to their shops pretending as customers. As soon as the salesman gets engaged in some work, they managed to take away the jewellery. They operate in different districts.”
