The Health and Energy Ministry this afternoon announced that the price of a 12kg cylinder will go down from €16.50 to €15 on Monday. The ministry said that the price of gas is at its lowest in four years. This was part of the government’s policy to ensure stable prices over a number of months.

It said families and businesses can plan their expenses better thanks to stability in prices, which was also leading to less uncertainty. This was different to what happened in the past.

The ministry thanked Liquigas for its cooperation and the Resources Authority for its work.
